Are your sweets vegan?

Of course! Our sweets are 100% vegetarian and vegan and cruelty free. Our sweets are free from all those nasty animal derived products; including gelatin, milk, egg, cochineal, honey, beeswax and other animal derived E numbers or colours.


Are your sweets gluten free?

Some of our individual sweets are free from gluten, but these are currently premixed in our plastic free pouches with other pick and mix candy. Currently, we cannot ensure that the factories our sweets are manufactured in do not handle ingredients containing gluten and we advise anyone with gluten intolerance from consuming our candy.

We are working on new product lines for different dietary requirements. but currently cannot ensure that the factories the sweets are manufactured in do not handle ingredients gluten ingredients.

Are your sweets nut free?

Are you plastic free?

All of our packaging is plastic free, biodegradable and resealable. We are really proud to have carefully selected our suppliers to ensure our entire product (including the zip lock) is fully compostable in just 10 weeks because the future really is green!

We also use sustainable vegan printing methods and our partner Ecologi & The Eden Reforestation Projects plant millions of trees around the world each month. We are currently supporting their incredible work in Madagascar. Every product sold helps us to plant trees in our 'Green Candy' forest and achieve our goal of being carbon neutral.

Please note: some of our suppliers are not yet plastic free but we are working with them to reduce our impact on the planet and offset any carbon we produce.


Why are ingredients not on the packaging?

We believe in a Green future and do not use any extra materials where it is not necessary. This is because all our information on ingredients, Allergens and Nutritional Values is easily accessed on our website.

We are happy to provide more labelling for partner establishments, venues and at markets where more labelling is required. We are compliant with all UK law but if you have any more questions, please email us at info@thegreencandyco.co.uk


What are my shipping options?

Any orders below 2kg will be shipped with Royal Mail and rates will be automatically calculated at checkout. 


How can I pay?

We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), ApplePay and PayPal.


Do you issue refunds?

We can only issue refunds if items are broken or missing. We are not able to refund orders that are not to individual preferences. If you wish to raise a refund request, please message us at refund@thegreencandyco.co.uk. 

You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order to be eligible for a refund. We may require photos evidence as proof that the item is damaged. 

Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds when the order has been dispatched, a refund request will need to be raised. All returns should be sent back to our address:

How long does shipping take?

We may have shipping and dispatch delays due to Covid-19 and other restrictions beyond our control.

All of our orders are hand packed & dispatch times can vary up to 24 hours from ordering. Deliveries within the UK through Royal Mail 2nd Class should take 2-3 business days once dispatched and orders should take no longer than 7 working days at the busiest of times. If you have any questions please do get in touch!


How long do the pouches keep for?

Officially, we recommend eating the sweets within 10 months of purchase for maximum freshness and taste but they never take us a fraction of that time to eat! Store your sweets in a cool place away from direct sunlight or transfer into an airtight container as this will further prolong the products shelf life.


Wrong address?

Oopsie... inputted the wrong address? Make sure you get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can cancel the order before dispatch. Once your origional order is cancelled you can re-order with the correct details.

If the order is sent to the incorrect address we won’t be able to issue a refund until the order is returned to us which can take some time. We are only able to refund the cost of the order excluding delivery fees.

Need to change your address on a subscription product? Changing the address on your account unfortunately won't change the address for a subscription product and your subscription will need to be cancelled and resubscribed with your new address.


Do you ship outside the UK?

Currently we only ship within the UK but are hoping to ship worldwide soon! Shipping costs will be automatically calculated at checkout. Prices will vary on weight and area.


Sending a gift?

Our Sweets make perfect gifts! At the moment we are unable to add gift messages in orders, however, we don't send any billing information in orders (as it is more environmentally friendly). Instead we will simply send you an email confirmation so make sure your email address is correct to avoid problems.


How do you mix the sweets?

We mix our tasty vegan sweets in low batch quantities to order. Our Megamix bag contains a random selection of our 50+ varieties of 'Green Candy' at a mix ratio of Fizzy:Non Fizzy roughly at 60:40, However, measurements may vary slightly product to product.
